This is a very attractive vintage sterling silver candy bowl or mini-compote. It is marked "STERLING WEIGHTED WITH CEMENT". The bowl is about four and one-half inches in diameter and stands about two and three-quarters inches tall. There are one or two tiny dings visible upon extremely close inspection, but the silver is very bright and without any tarnish. The total weight is three and eight one-hundredths troy ounces.
