strong durable HEMP BACKPACK ~ Tibetan Knot of Eternity

This is a great hemp backpack made in the himalayan kingdom of Nepal. The gentleman who made it for me is an excellent tailor whom I had the pleasure of meeting on my overland travels throughout asia. Both the hemp material, and the workmanship are of excellent quality. The inside of the purse is lined for a soft feel, and all of the seams are well stitched for maximum durability and long lasting use. There is one large main pouch with a drawstring closure and a smaller pocket upfront. The embroidered flap covers the main compartment and both of these pockets secure with wooden bobbles. The backpack measures approximately 13" high x 9-10" wide x 5-6" deep, and the straps are adjustable.

The embroidery is beautiful! It is the sacred syllable, Shrivasta... This is the Buddhist eternity knot which symbolizes many aspects of existence, including the endless cycle of life, death, and rebirth. The eternity knot is someteimes used used to illustrate such concepts as the endless suffering that is existence, unending luck, or eternal love. The knot has no beginning and no end, only continuity. BEAUTIFUL!
