This is a compact style hemp purse handmade in the himalayan kingdom of Nepal. The gentleman who made it for me is an excellent tailor whom I had the pleasure of meeting on my overland travels throughout asia. Both the hemp material, and the workmanship are of very high quality. The inside of the purse and the strap are lined for a soft feel, and all of the seams are well stitched for maximum durability and long lasting use. This particular style has one large main pouch that closes with two(2) secure zippers. Behind this pouch is a smaller un-zippered pocket, and in front of it is a third zippered(1) pocket. The flap covers all of the pockets and secures shut with two wooden bobbles. This handbag style measures approximately 8" high x 9" wide and is approximately 3.5" deep from front to back. The strap is adjustable to a maximum length of about 52".
