~~~~~~~~~SELLING:This is vintage Maddux of California orange clown. NO CRACKS, NO CHIPS, VERY NICE CLEAN EXAMPLE The jar is approximately 12-14" tall (the pointy cap is huge!) and is in perfect structural shape--no chips, no cracks, no stains etc. It is somewhat unusual in that it is in such good condition after all these years. It is a cold paint jar with as perfect paint as it gets. You can see the black " Mascara" is missing from the eye on your right..This one has a hi gloss finish. ( I've seen only 3 of these in all our collecting. One of the other 2 was in very poor shape.) This is the kind of jar that passes within a family, and is rarely seen for sale. ( our kids said they would kill us if we died and left them with all our cookie jars) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ NOTE:
We are selling our personal collection of 800 cookie jars. (the steps are getting steeper and the retirement nest egg is getting smaller!). We are down to our final 350 which , for the most part, are our favorites, the unusual, hard to find.
