the hard drive has failed .....stuck on welcome to tivo screen...........

this unit is on my tivo acount and has full lifetime subscription to the service ......no fees ever

either re format a new hard drive the cheap way...using software available for download online  i beleive is $20...plus you will need a hard drive , or just buy a new hard drive  with pre installed image from weakness dot com ....

eitherway a cheap way to get tivo service for ever.....just for your info....this hard drive has lasted almost 9 years !...so well worth throwing in a new one , takes a couple of mins to do .

i have the power cord and a tivo remote also  that comes with it .
