DESCRIPTION
This item is part of a Australian
collection. The items were collected during the 1970s. I have included
a couple of pictures of the collector on location in New
Guinea and Indonesia.

for auction we have an interesting tribal artifact from the
Trobriand Islands. This ingenious Massim
Float is circa 1930s.
It is made of wood and has a figure carved on top. In
great condition, only some light wear. We have included a
photo reference.
It
measures approximately 42cm long and 13cm
wide.
