Unglazed Shiwan Mudman figurine Playing Chess

 

 

These is a vintage minute unglazed pottery Shiwan figurines of a highly famous Chinese legend Eight Immortals, Zhang Guolao and Lu Dongbin (张果老, 吕洞宾).

 

These figurines has a history of approx. 20 years. The damages I can see are the hat and the hand of Lu Dongbin (figure on the left) are broken as seen in the pictures.

 

It originated from Shiwan, Guangdong province China, a famous pottery town in china.
