unique marble art ~ STONE ELEPHANT ~ stunning carving !

BEAUTIFUL! This stone carving was handcarved in northern India by artisans whom I met while travelling overland from China/Tibet/Nepal many years ago. If you look closely at the photos below, you'll see that a second smaller elephant is carved inside the lattice work of the larger (please don't ask me how they do this, I still don't know :) This elephant statue measures approximately 6 1/4" long x 4 3/8" high x 4" wide. The statue weighs approximately 2 lbs 9 oz (there's a quarter in the last photo below to help show the size) The statue pictured below is the exact one you will receive.
