In addition to shipping in the US, We can only ship to Australia and Japan after bidder confers about monetary exchange rates. Feedback system being implemented July 1 does not permit us to ship to Canada or Europe.
Buyers have been asking some great questions and helping to create a more complete description. But we answer emails on Sunday and Monday nights only.
My negative is the result of the buyer not reading the description, I typed BBs, he read "illegal lead shot".
. We are not experts on the item you are bidding on. You are bidding on the item because you like the photo and have found the description to be sufficent enough to bid on the item. You have written us to ask technical and specific condition questions to clarify what you are buying. If your email is not posted to the bidding site, do not bid. You have taken the steps needed to buy the item and be happy with it when it arrives in your home. . Not wishing to sound negtive or pessimistic, but the new feedback system on July 1, with the new DSRs will be the downfall of eBay, as thousands of sellers will no longer be able to sell on eBay.
HOWEVER, ebay has changed its policy again about the new feedback so maybe it will work out afterall to the satisfacation of buyers.
Now for all of you Great Buyers, thank you for your business and once again we are sorry for the negative TOS
We ship all items inserted into a plastic bag, wrapped with paper, and then surround the item with padding of various sorts, depending on the item. Seldom do we use shipping peanuts but instead use tightly wadded paper. We really like to double box items, so most of the time if it merits a double boxing, we will do so. All of our items are estate purchased and we ourselves are sensitive to smoke, cat smells and food odor. Some of these items will smell old, like dusty attics, as old items just have that smell if you stick your nose right up to the item.
Welcome to our auction offerings on EBAY!!! We have retired from our teaching positions and had intended to start listing in fall of 2006, but did otherwise and now we are ready this spring of 2008 to show the world decades of treasures that we have accumulated by browsing at flea markets, farm auctions and estate sales. We list on Tuesday nights, wrap on Monday mornings, and travel to the post office on Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on traffic and holiday. We do not have an e-mail culture of checking the e-mail everyday so we are likely to answer e-mail questions on late Saturday,Sunday and Monday nights. Wednesday through Saturday we are traveling, volunteering and enjoying our retirement
