Here is a beautiful and unused, very clean vintage piece of Fortuny in the Carnavalet motif, measuring apx 72 x 55" with a selvedge (selvage) edge as shown, with the original tags from Fortuny in New York City and a fabric store in Boston.   I believe this is a cotton fabric backed with silk, and the motif is raised, but this is out of my area of expertise so forgive me if I am wrong.    The booklet is also vintage but does not include this particular motif.   The piece appears flawless, but please study closely my very large photographs and write with questions.

A: The color as tagged is GOLD. I am not certain how the Fortuny would describe it but I would definitely call it metallic.
