Here is a lion with a smoking habit. Just what I want on my valentine is to see the bearer of the Valentine greeting smoking a cigarette. Times were obviously very different then , and a real man about town of course would smoke so this well dressed lion has lit up. His mask goes into two different positions on his face over 2 sets of eyes to make it look like he is shifting his gaze. It works amazingly well., very visual. His arm and one side of his mask has been sampled by something long ago but I posted him because he is so interesting and different. I can date him at 1925 because that is what someone has written on his back with a pencil and that fits with where he was found. He came from a trunk in a locked room in a machine shed on a farm that my husband and I purchased. The written materials in those trunks dates between 1902-1930's so this guy fits right in. He is 6 1/2 " tall and 2 1/2 " wide. If you have any other questions about him please contact me. If you have the time browse my store Simply Beyond ordinary where I usually have beyond ordinary items for auction. Thank you for looking at my listing and have a nice day. |
