 For your auction consideration is this vintage german lidded beer stein that stands 8 1/2" tall from the base to the tip of the lid.It is marked with two numbers on the bottom,incised, the first number is 580 and underneath of it is the number 4 and under that it the incised word GERMANY.On the front is a scene of  a man on bended knee holding a womans hand that is standing before him,as if proposing marriage,behind him is a man and a woman sitting at a table with thier arms around each other holding thier beer steins.It is nicely decorated with the colors of forest green,a red-brown,and a very light tan coloring.The handle to the stein appears to be in the shape of a twisted tree branch.It has alot of detail and is in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              If you have any questions please e-mail me before bidding. A: Hello.In answering your question regaurding the stein,there are no chips or cracks,it is in great condition and I had forgotten to add to the description that it has alot of raised detail on the lid as well.Thank You LORI
