vintage metal Bluebird retractable clothesline Fulton IL nifty!
This vintage retractable clothesline is an honest-to-goodness Bluebird from Fulton, Illinois. I can't make out the company's name - this information is embossed in a circle around the handle. Casing on this vintage clothesline is metal. The knob handle is wooden. Inside is at least 35 feet of soft roping. There is 28 feet before three knotted attachments. Even with the knots, the line comes and goes easily. There is some rust as you can see from the photos. Diameter is 3.5" with a width of 1-7/8". Length with the two bracket feet is 5". Yes, this cutie is still quite functional. Feel free to ask any questions and thanks for stopping by.
I specialize in vintage items which means they may have some wear on them. I spend a lot of time examining items but can miss something. That is why your questions are very important. I LOVE items with a previous life and I don't care about perfection but realize that we are all different. We have four booths in different antique malls scattered around the area so many times I do NOT relist. Be sure to bid early since the item may be a one-time deal.
I accept PayPal per the new eBay requirements. Payment is expected within 10 days of the auction's closing.
Priority is the preferred shipping. The USP provides free boxes (only for Priority) so you don't have to wait for me to ferret out a box. Priority is quick, giving the over-worked mail carriers less time to lose or break something! One of my kind brothers provides me with air pillows and bubble wrap so I don't need to charge you for those either. First-class works for non-breakables and media mail is for books and video tapes. I tend to ship the same day that payment is received.
I recommend insurance for breakable items. I pack very carefully but it is out of my hands once the package hits the bin.
