I have this Vintage Sonor snare drum for sale. I am not sure of the age, but it is very old, probably 1950's I would guess. Could be older, could be a little later (1960's?) If you're looking at this, you probably know a lot more than I do about vintage trap drum equipment. The drum is gold flake stripes and the finish is remarkably good for a drum this old. It is the original covering. The drum was just taken out of storage and I didn't try to clean it up. I think that a little steel wool and polish would make the hardware pop again. The heads are functional, and may even be old/vintage/collectable themselves, but I would guess that you would probably want to change them for your particular style. The shell and hardware look pretty good and appear to be functional to me. Please ask me any questions since I am no expert on these drums.
