The maker's name is Pedler.
Harry Walter Pedler established his business in Elkhart in 1919, after previously working for Rudall, Carte, & Co., and Conn. The company started as American Manufacturing with Gronnert in 1916 but with the death of Gronnert, company was renamed Harry Pedler Co. PEDLER RETIRED FROM HIS COMPANY IN 1930
ART Musical Instruments was founded in 1932 by F. A. Buescher after he left the Buescher company. By 1934, Harry Pedler was vice-president, and after Buescher died in 1937, the company became Harry Pedler & Sons
Pedler had died in 1950.
In 1958, Selmer purchased the Harry Pedler and Sons brass plant on Superior Street, Elkhart.
Pedler instruments are said to be good quality instruments. There is some info on this trumpet,it is missing a mouthpiece i think,i know nothing about these,it had nicks,is bent in spots but is a great example of vintage brass instruments,this was professional grade and how i know it has art on the bell,is in origanal case,all in all i would say it is 55%,i would say buy this as a collectable or to fix her up,has mother of pearl buttons and is serial numbered,plz excuse me on this item for i truly know nothing about it,hope someone can give it a new home,plz look at photos for it is old and shows it,needs a total restoration in my opinion
