vintage white sparkle confetti lucite vanity purse

  My Mom's friend Lullie is 95 and divesting herself of many lovely accumulations of a lifetime. This white sparkle confetti lucite clutch purse was Lullie's and, as with all of her things, has been kept in beautiful condition. It measures approximately 5.5 "s x 3 inches.The outside is white confetti style lucite front and back and the slim gold colored frame opens up to reveal a carryall complete with mirror, powder well, comb, pouch container, and lipstick container topped with a rhinestone flower. Lipstick label says "Paint the Town Pink" indelable creme. By the condition of the purse, I don't think she carried it many times.

  Lucite vanity purses appeared on the scene in the 50's  and became very popular. From the description in the resource book Lullie also provided to me for listing.................this purse was manufactured by a company called Wilardly. They were the providers of top line vanity purses and were awarded fashion's highest award for quality, style and design by the International Fashion Institute.
