This auction is for a great, rare old ad for PJ Boutiques featuring a very young Patrick Swayze! This ad was featured in a 1974 issue of After Dark magazine. After Dark was the "Magazine of Entertainment" in the 1970's. The magazine was very popular with the gay male community.
This is the original After Dark ad...not a reproduction! The ad has not been trimmed from the magazine page (so you can still see the date in the lower right corner). The full page measures about 11" x 8" and the ad itself measures about 4 3/4" x 5". The ad is for PJ Boutiques in New York City. On the left it says the photo was taken by Ron Schubert and under the photo it says, "Model: Patrick Swayze." Swayze is shown in a revealing bathing suit.
The ad will be packaged carefully in a clear archival storage bag and shipped flat. The ad is in good condition for its age with a couple light fold marks at the bottom of the page (see photos).
This is really a terrific, scarce vintage ad...perfect for framing!
