Color Choices
It is important that you indicate at least a first and second color choice where applicable. It should be indicated in the Note to Seller section of the PayPal payment, NOT in a separate email. The emails tend to get separated from the payment notifications, or come in after we've already processed the order. We're fast!
Checkout
I accept PayPal only. Please use the check out system upon completing your purchases in order for my system to pick up your payment properly.
Communications
You will get a payment acknowledgement which also lists your shipping address and the item(s) you purchased. It is important that you report any errors immediately because we ship fast!
You will also receive an email with your tracking number on the day your order ships.
If you use a spam blocker, make sure that mother-turistas.com is on your approved list. I get very testy if I get returned mail and then you email and ask me if your order has shipped.
Earthlink Users
I will NOT respond to those auto-reply spam blocker requests. If you intend to get your payment receipts, tracking numbers, or other correspondence, PLEASE add my domain, mother-turistas.com to your approved list.
AOL Users
I'm getting emails bounced back from AOL on every buyer who uses it. I strongly suggest that you use another email providor if you want to get email from eBay sellers. This has been an ongoing problem for years, but it has gotten worse recently.
Shipping Charges
Please use the postage calculator to check on the total for your zip code. Click on the link just below the shipping charge for one item, or scroll to the bottom of the page.
USPS is my preferred method except for very heavy items. Cost is calculated by weight and distance.
PLEASE NOTE: I do NOT profit from shipping charges. My charges are usually a little less than my actual charges. Keep in mind that all carriers have been raising their fees at least once or twice a year. I note this because for feedback rating purposes I'd like you to please keep in mind the high cost of these fees.
Combined Shipping
Shipping charges are weight based, so there is usually a savings when shipping several items together.

Damage in Transit
eBay no longer allows buyers to purchase shipping insurance. If you should receive a damaged item please follow these steps:

If the package appears to be damaged, photograph it before opening it.

If the item is damaged, photograph it from all angles, getting as much detail as possible.

Notify me within TWO days of receipt for consideration of replacement or credit.
Shipping Time
We do our very best to ship within 1 day of payment cleared. From October through Christmas this is not always possible due to high volume. Please try to do your shopping as early as possible, taking into account not only longer handling time, but shipping delays as well.
Tracking
Tracking is always supplied free of charge.
