Up for auction today is a rare opportunity to own a 1/72 scale model of USS Tarawa control tower. The model measures approx 100cm in length and 50cm tall. It is entirely scratch built and has workable lights (6V) installed. Some of the radars can be rotated through a powered motor, I have tested it and it rotates but it needs some work for smoother operation. The doors on the model can be opened and closed as they are hinged as well as the shutter doors.

Countless hours have been invested on this model and it just needs someone to finish it with some touchups and paint application. It is a beautiful and impressive piece and makes an outstanding flightdeck display with your 1/72 scale aircraft models and crew.

I will ship to anywhere in the world via airmail air parcel, EMS or DHL. Shipping cost will be determined at the end of the auction, the stated cost of $200 is indicative and might be much less. It weighs approx 5kg (that is my guess so it is not accurate).
