PUNISHER COMPLETE 16 PAGES MARVEL COMIC BOOK PROOF ART

Hello, Marvel Comics superheroes! This is A COMPLETE STORY OF SIXTEEN PAGES of Official Marvel Comics PRINTER'S PROOF ART pages used in the direct production of THE PUNISHER "HOLIDAY SPECIAL" issue 3 comic book from around 1993 or 1994.  These pages were used by Marvels' staff to produce a Christmas/X-Mas Punisher story called "The Cold Land".  They were aquired directly from Marvel Comics Colorist Christie Scheele, and although these are not color guide pages, they were CRITICAL in the production of the actual published comic book (see last paragraph below).  These HUGE 1990's printers proof production art pages measure about 16 3/4 inches by 11 3/4 inches. These pages have some bends, etc, but that's absolutely normal for production staff artwork that was never intended to become collectible someday. That's exactly what makes these pages so rare and collectible! Production staff are usually concerned with submitting their best work on time and beating deadlines.

Marvel's Production Staff created each of color proof page to check for errors before the actual comic book went to press.  Much like original artwork and color guide pages, printer proofs were also VITAL in the production of the actual comic book or trade paperback. Printer's proofs are created by the production staff or by the printers for quality control purposes before printing the actual comic books. This description is (C) RLC.
