Challinor English Staffordshire White Ironstone 10" Bowl 1865

We are  pleased to offer this lovely large soup bowl in the Grape and Chain pattern   manufactured by Edward and Charles Challinor in Staffordshire, England circa 1865. E & C Challinor and Company were producers of earthenware and ironstone  at Fenton Potteries, Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent.  This rimmed soup bowl  measures 10" in diameter. It has the Challinor impressed mark on the back. It has overall light crazing from age and a discoloration spot on the back rim that does not show on the front (extremely minor); otherwise it is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips, or cracks. Just a lovely  piece of  Victorian Era Staffordshire Pottery that you are sure to want to add to your Ironstone/White Granite dinnerware  collection.  Thanks for viewing our sale.
