This auction is for a Rare 1928 First Edition, First Printing Stonewall Jackson Civil War Book . It is titled Stonewall Jackson The Good Soldier by Alan Tate. New York: Milton Balch & Company, 1928. Hardcover. First Edition; First Printing. 322pp. Very Good in boards. Illustrated. Maps. Slight wear to edges and slight fading to spine. Cover and spine artwork by Philip Kappel, the noted American etcher.  A very nice copy of the author's first book and a First Edition, First Printing! Another rare book for the Civil War collector.
