If you've worked in stained glass for a while, then you've probably had to deal with the lead came that needs to be stretched. Not only can it be a pain but you also have to deal with oxidation and darkening over time, especially if you live in a humid area.

When the Creative Craftsmen Company came out with their 'no stretch' lead came, it was love at first sight... Their lead came is far superior to other lead cames produced. It is shiny and silver rather then dark, and comes ready to use instantly! I use hobby lead on everything from the angel jewel heads on suncatchers to the twisted edging that looks so quaint. Each piece is 47" long and weighs 3 ounces. Each purchase is for (1) piece of the 5/64" Flat U hobby lead.

Thanks for stopping by...Just to tell you a little about myself - I own a stained glass store about 60 miles south of St. Louis. I have been doing glass for almost 20 years and dearly love it. There's probably nothing I haven't done in glass thru the years. My largest project was 8' x 4' and made the front page of the newspaper a few years back. I'm in my store seven days a week and love nothing better then to work on my glass. I'm in a very happy time in my life now and appreciate it greatly and I value each and every day.
