These wonderful Evan-Picone classics are stylish and practical at the same time, and the super-soft glove-like leather promises comfort for those long days. It's difficult to say exactly what these shoes are made of--the leather is so buttery it could easily be calf, kid or even something more exotic...and the original price of $459.00 (the tag is still on the sole!) indicates there is something special about these for sure! This delightful pair of shoes shows relatively minor wear on the outside, looking nearly new for the most part (even on the sole), though there is noticeable flaking on the inside "sock" area (presumeably from age). Overall these are in very good condition and will provide wonderful service for many years to come.

Our items are always shipped via the United States Postal Service, and by the most expedient and cost-effective method available. Often this will be PRIORITY MAIL, but occasionally it will be First Class, Parcel Post or Media Mail. We don't control the time it takes the Post Office to deliver packages, only the time it takes for us to get them in the mail. Most items are shipped the business day following the day of purchase (with rare exceptions). Once they are in the post, it is entirely up to the carrier when they are actually placed into your hands. When our listings specify a particular method of shipment, that's the one we use; otherwise you'll see "STANDARD FLAT RATE" as our shipping method, which means "THE SHIPPING METHOD OF OUR CHOICE", based upon the effective cost and benefit of any particular type of delivery.
For eBay auctions/sales we accept PAYPAL ONLY. Winning bidders/buyers must make payment arrangements within 24 hours of auction end, and typically we expect payment within three days of auction end (unless other arrangements have been made with us, within 24 hours of the sale, in writing). Failure to complete payment accordingly will result in a cancellation of the sale and filing of an "UNPAID ITEM DISPUTE" with eBay. We don't like taking this step...it's bad for you and it's bad for business. Please don't bid or buy if you can't live with these payment requirements.
1. The quoted shipping price accompanying this listing is for shipments to STREET ADDRESSES in the CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES ONLY. We will ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, other United States territories, and to countries outside the United States on a case-by-case basis, but only with pre-approval. If you wish to have an item shipped outside of the continental United States you MUST contact us ahead of time for pre-approval and a shipping quote. Failure to contact us before purchasing, if you live outside the continental United States, may result in your bid or sale being cancelled. INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS MUST HAVE A SATISFACTORY FEEDBACK RATING...generally, this is a minimum of ten transactions completed satisfactorily (with positive feedback) with other sellers from the United States.
2. We use the United States Postal Service for virtually all of our shipping. Our shipping charges are most often quoted as "Standard Flat Rate"; everyone pays the same price for shipping and WE DO NOT GUARANTEE ANY PARTICULAR SHIPPING METHOD OR TIME OF ARRIVAL FOR ANY PRODUCT unless specified in the "description" part of the listing (or if a specific shipment method is offered and you choose to pay the extra cost for that method). We usually ship via USPS Priority Mail, but any method may be selected at our option. Shipping methods such as Media Mail and Parcel Post can take a while to arrive--your package will be shipped promptly but once it leaves our hands it's up to the Post Office...please be patient with them as postal employees (like most overpaid, underworked government employees) have only one speed and it's S-L-O-O-W-W-W-W-W.
3. ANY SHIPPING CHARGE QUOTED includes the cost of postage as well as reasonable packaging/handling costs and extra services (such as delivery confirmation) that we may choose to incorporate. When you see a difference between what you paid for shipping and the actual shipping costs...this is why. We keep all of our prices/fees as reasonable as possible (oftentimes your savings over retail will be incredible!). In order to offer such low prices we operate on a razor-thin margin and must recover all of the costs associated with marketing our products, including the costs of shipping materials, etc. PLEASE DON'T RATE US POORLY ON SHIPPING CHARGE DSRs simply because we put our Handling fees out in the open, where they belong.
4. It is our usual practice to ship ONE BUSINESS DAY after payment has been received, though this is not guaranteed; shipping can take longer on occasion. Payment is not considered as "received" until it has completely cleared PayPal. This means that if your payment is being drawn as an "eCheck", or must otherwise be drawn from an account which requires a delay in payment to us, your shipment will be similarly delayed. Under no circumstances will we ship an item before it has been paid for, and before that payment has "cleared" our account. Also, we positively refuse to participate in eBay/PayPal's goofy "payment hold" policy. Should the occasion arise that PayPal or eBay expects us to ship an item before they release payment funds to us, we will immediately cancel the sale and direct PayPal to issue a refund of anything you've paid. We will not be held hostage by this incredibly ill-conceived practice. If you believe your transaction requires the use of an escrow service, contact us and we'll see what can be arranged. Otherwise, we will ship when we've been paid...period.
5. There are occasions when shipments will take longer than one day to complete. It's rare, but it does happen. This most often occurs around holidays, but may also be the result of vacations, buying trips, illness, etc. In general we are very speedy shippers and our feedback rating bears this out. Please understand that once in awhile things don't go completely according to plan, and this includes shipping times.
6. It is our usual policy to send an email to let you know when a shipment has left our facility. Once it's in the hands of the shipping agent or carrier, we have no control over how or when it arrives at your location. Please do not hold us responsible for delays for which the assorted shipping agencies may be accountable.
7. It is our policy to offer insurance on all of our listings. We will not be held responsible for loss or damage that occurs during shipment if you choose to decline insurance. Insurance is ALWAYS RECOMMENDED, and on some listings is required (as will be spelled out in the "description" part of the listing).
8. We will combine shipments/discount shipping charges TO THE EXTENT THAT THIS IS POSSIBLE WITH A MINIMUM DISRUPTION TO OUR SHIPPING PROCESS. Please inquire if you have interest in combined shipping.
9. We do not negotiate our shipping prices or policies, ever. If you do not agree with our shipping price, policy or carrier choice/method, please do not bid or buy from us.

Our return policy is spelled out below, except as may be noted in the item description. Generally, we will only accept a return if our listing has grossly misrepresented the product or if the product is in some way defective. In the case of a defective product, we will replace the product whenever a replacement is available. We will refund the purchase price (but not the shipping charges) if a suitable replacement is not available, but under no circumstances will we replace or refund until the original product is returned to us, in its original packaging and ready for resale if possible.
