Whats the maximum range that can be achieved between the units?
With standard unshielded cables(like cat5) up to 50m, with coax shielded cables 200-300m is achievable. CAT-5 (standard PC network) cable (can be supplied for $0.10/ft.)

I want to setup an intercom system for multiple flats (network system), can you supply the hardware?
Yes, but because these systems use different technology (although look identical) and are in short demand i do not stock them. Handling time is 2-4 weeks. The system in this auction can connect up to 4 internal units and 4 external units together.

Does the external intercom unit requires power connection?
No. It is powered via the cable directly from the internal monitor unit.
