Having two charged batteries will extend your battery time significantly. This espeically comes in handy for students, business associates, and travelers. These modules also fit the Dell D/Dock Media/Modular Bays and select Inspiron/Precision Notebook models. The batteries are in excellent condition as you can see from the included photos. These secondary batteries are corporate lease pulls in excellent cosmetic condition. See photos for details. What you see is what you get. Due to the fact that they are used, you should not expect 100% charge time on used batteries. Expect at least at 1-2 hours of use time, and sometimes longer. It varies by user and all depends on the programs you are running and how many at one time. Gamers should not expect miracles. The more stress you put on your system, even a new battery will not last as long as you expect it to. But for normal everyday use such as student or business oriented programs, you should get at least an 70-80% runtime on the battery life. Anything less than that, contact me for an exchange. Overview
The Dell 48 WHr 6-Cell Secondary Media Bay Battery can be used in the modular bay to extend your Laptop's battery life over the single battery configuration. It features a 48 WHr capacity. Lithium-Ion batteries have a longer life than conventional batteries and do not require replacement as often. There is no battery memory effect with a Lithium-Ion battery — you can charge the battery whenever you like without fear of reducing its charge capacity. Moreover, you do not need to drain a Lithium-Ion battery completely before recharging it. This product has been tested and validated on Dell systems.

Refund Policy
All warranty and DOA returns are processed as an exchange only transaction. Refunds are not offered, and only given when a replacement for a DOA item is out of stock. Warranty product returns are also processed as exchanges, and are only eligible for a store merchandise credit in the event of an out-of-stock item. Warranty & Non-DOA Guarantee Policies
Austex Sales attempts to test most of the products sold in auction. Sometimes it is not possible, or I may miss something. I'm human. It happens. If there is a warranty or non-DOA policy in the item description, then you are covered! You are guaranteed a working product. But I want to clearly state what that means in each of my policies so that there is no confusion.
Non-DOA Guarantee policy states that unless an auction indicates that the item sold is an "as-is" product, if you receive a dead-on-arrival (DOA) or defective product, I will exchange the item for you.
Warranty policy only covers what is specifically stated for each product in its auction item description. If there is no warranty stated the description, then none is given or implied. Warranty periods will vary, and sometimes they will only cover certain situations so please pay close attention to the details in the auction. Do not assume anything. If you are confused, ask questions. I'm happy to answer them. I process many auctions, so sometimes I may make mistakes in the auction or write conflicting warranties. It happens. I am more than happy to clarify any information, or make corrections to the auction itself.
Understand that with these policies also come some basic expectations. I do ask questions if you do not provide enough information about your issue. Don't be offended. I only ask more questions when I feel that you have not provided enough specific information about your issue in order to determine the next course of action. Troubleshooting is a necessary part of the process. Your cooperation is required to ensure a speedy resolution. Know this: I do not respond well to threats, feedback extortion, or any other intimidation tactics. I'm firm, but fair. Return Policy
Austex Sales will accept returns based on the warranty or non-DOA policy of the product. Warranty and non-DOA status is determined in the item description. If none is stated, none is given or implied. Returns are not automatic. You will be required to follow certain protocols (troubleshooting, photos, etc.) to determine eligibility for the return/exchange of a product. If a return is granted, Austex Sales will determine the type of return based on the information provided from the buyer. The outcome will only be one of the following:
- DOA Return - The item received is defective or DOA and can be returned for an exchange.
- Warranty Return - The item is covered by a warranty period for defects and can be returned for an exchange.
- No Return - the item does not qualify for a return, and none will be accepted.
- Non-DOA* Return - the item does not qualify under a DOA or Warranty Return, but based on the information provided it will be accepted for return with a 20% re-stocking fee.
Email communication through eBay messaging is my preferred method of buyer/seller contact for documentation and resolution tracking. Calls are not an acceptable form of commuication as I like to document ALL buyer/seller communication in written form. This protects both buyer and seller from 'he said/she said' issues later. In the event of a return/exchange:
- All items must be returned within 15 days of receipt of auction item or within the warranty period, whichever is greater.
- You must contact the seller with your eBay id, auction number, and auction title before shipping the item back.
- You will receive a Returned Merchandise Authorization number (RMA#) and instructions to return your item.
- All returns must include all original items undamaged, in re-saleable condition, and all original packaging including manuals, warranty forms, etc. and an assigned RMA# on the label.
- I will refuse any package without an RMA# on the box or label.
- Barcodes and serial numbers are recorded and verified on purchases and returns.
- All of our products are discreetly marked with identification, so exchanges are only given upon id verification.
- Original auction shipping/handling fees are not refundable.
- Buyers are responsible for shipping costs incurred when returning products to me. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Buyer is REQUIRED to provide tracking/delivery confirmation information to seller on return shipments.
- DOA returns will be given an exchange only. Refunds are not given unless an item is out of stock.
- Warranty returns will be given an exchange only. Store credit is only available if an item is out of stock. No refunds.
- I do not accept returns for non-compatibility.
