This is a used  JC Penney Multi Coated 28mm wide-angle lens, serial #921838, that was designed for Pentax bayonet-mount, manual-focus, NON-program/automatic cameras.

This lens is the PK variety and will also fit selected models of Ricoh, Vivitar, Sears, Chinon, or any other camera that uses the PK lens-mounting system.

It would be just perfect for the gazillions of K1000s out there.

28mm lenses are a must-have because they give one a 74-degree field of view as compared to only a 46-degree field of view with a 50mm lens.

The f-stop range goes from 2.8 to 22, the condition is 'excellent', there is the minimum of handling wear, and it is sold complete with front & rear caps.
