Discover the
difference between the long path and the shortcut to handstand
success...
"How an Uncoordinated 6'2" 180 lb. Guy
Discovered the Easy
and Fast
System to
Mastering the Freestanding Handstand
and How You Can Do It Too"
Dear Fellow Handstander,
I'll get to more details on this diagram later but first let me
introduce myself.
My name is Logan Christopher and I'm just like you. I'm not a
competitive gymnast. Never was (I think I took all of one weeks lessons
when I was a kid). I wasn’t born in the circus nor am I an acrobatic
prodigy.
In fact, up until recently most people would say I wasn’t even
coordinated. Not to mention at 6’ 2” and around 180 pounds I’m not your
average tiny gymnast’s size.
A couple years back I tried my first handstand away from the wall. As
you can imagine I was not very successful at it. But this first
incident set me upon the path toward hand balancing success. I was
bitten by the bug and wanted badly to be able to
pull off this awe-inspiring move.
It wasn’t easy for me. I sought out information on the subject. I tried
to find out something that could help me on the path. Eventually I
located an old book and it did help but it was still a matter of
trial-and-error with my handstand.
I kept on researching and now I might have a bigger library on hand
balancing and various acrobatics than anyone else on this planet. But
there was still something missing.
“Most People Can’t Do
a Handstand
Simply Because They
Were Never Taught How”
The big problem is there was
no system to
learning these skills. Most of the time you get “this
is what you do.” At best you get “this is how you do it” which is still
uncommon to find. Does that really help YOU
to do the handstand? If you and I are completely honest, the answer is
no.
The question that needs to be answered is
“How
do you build up to it?”
I can tell you all I want about how to balance with your hands, but you
won’t be able to do it. Keep you body in the right position? You may
know what you’re suppose to do, but that doesn’t mean you can do it!
The fact is, I envy you. Trailblazers always have a tough time, but
then those who follow can reap the rewards.
What I’m talking about is that
I put
together a system that is guaranteed to help you master the handstand
in record time. You see, there are a few things you have to
learn in order to be able to do a handstand.
Unfortunately, I can’t “teach” you these things. The best I can do is
show you how to “discover”
this ability for yourself by going through a series
of stunts.
These
lead-up stunts will etch the must-have skills into your body and mind
so that you can easily replicate them when you go after the handstand.
Once you have the skills, getting the handstand is just a matter of a
little practice. Most importantly is mastering the kick-up so that
you can get into the handstand each and
every time you try. Of course, you'll learn the very best way to
do just that.
Tell me more about how this system works?
Here are some of the
remarkable lessons I’ll share with you:
- Are you already working on the free standing
handstand? STOP NOW! You must
complete these FOUR
lead-up stunts before you should even BEGIN.
- The secrets of the "Toe-Touch
Handstand"…How it will teach you balancing in the handstand
better than any other method (9:56)
- The one thing you should do before you even attempt
any handstand (0:29)
- Why you must grip the ground and how this improves
your balance (2:05)
- Have problems
kicking-up against the wall? How to do the sprinter's stance kick-up
with ease (0:54)
- Why the headstand is an essential must-learn skill
used to easily train your body to stay tight in the air (5:30)
- How to safely and efficiently get out of an
overbalanced handstand (12:32)
- How to change your body
structure for endurance to hold the handstand for as long as you
want against the wall or out in the open (2:10)
- Why arching the back may or may not be right for you.
Hint: What feels natural is usually best (14:38)
- Use this rarely used headstand variation to make
your body a steel rod standing in the air without a quiver (6:38)
- You should walk around on your hands because its
easier to start with, right? WRONG! Why you must not fall into this
trap (15:41)
- Do you work your balance
by bringing both feet off the wall and trying to hold the handstand?
If so, you need to use this EVEN
BETTER method instead (10:10)
- When you're ready to move on to the Free Standing
Handstand - Ignore these guidelines at your own risk (9:34)
- What you MUST do in your forearm stand. Neglect this
and lose all the benefits of the exercise (8:03)
- Why the
frogstand is your best friend when it comes to handstand practice (4:25)
- The first big goal
you need to hit, a 30 second
handstand (27:45)
- Balancing should be done by weaving your body and
shoulders, bending the arms, right? WRONG! All balance should be
maintained by the hands in the beginning. Find the quickest, easiest
way to ‘grasp’ how to balance using
your hands
with the Frogstand (4:47)
- Is your body falling all over the place? Follow these
steps to make your handstand harmonious (13:58)
- Three methods
of bailing out of a handstand. Which one is best and which one you
should avoid (13:42)
- Two methods of kicking up - Which one will give you
the best results? (18:01)
- The kick-up is of prime importance. Here's a few
things to avoid (20:46)
- The sure-fire way to perfect your kick-up so you can
get in a good handstand every single
time you try. My secret weapon for
making your kick-up rock solid in as short a time as possible. (22:36)
- How do you know when to progress from one stunt to
the next? I've eliminated the guesswork by laying out the details (26:04)
- A sample 8-week plan
that'll take you from zero all
the way to doing a 30-second handstand
(29:31)
- A few ideas on what to do after you've mastered the
30 second handstand (32:01)
What I’ve
done is package all these secrets into a easily usable video called the
“Secrets
of the Handstand” Quick Start DVD. So now you won’t have to read
and re-read these
books, or squint at images while trying to grasp exactly what’s going
on. You get the
optimal learning
experience as I guide you step-by-step through the system!
Are You Ready to Step
Up to the “Big Leagues” and
Finally Take Control of Your Hand Balancing Success Once and For All?
If so, you should get your hands on this system.
But don’t take my word for it.
Here’s
what others have been saying about my system:
"I
have viewed the video......You did an
awesome job explaining the technique and
showing the variations of handbalancing. I especially liked the
part where you
taught the the foerarm stand, I tested myself out on that and did what
everyone
really starts at shrugging the shoulders and not keeping the upper arms
perpendicular to the floor, I held that for a few seconds then I tried
the best I
could the way you did it and was difficult but I held for a second or 2
longer then
what I originally tried. The frogstand
was better explained then I was originally
taught and with practice I know I can get better. Great job bro
and I will be
practicing these more often no matter what.....You got something special here and
its made me want to do better in my conditioning and coordination."
-Ben Bergman, Santa
Cruz, CA
"If I had Logan's Secrets of the Handstand DVD I could have made more
progress in a couple months than my first 3 years!"
-Tyler J. Bramlett
"I was playing around the other day with the frog stand(knees on
elbows)
and I had a hard time till I watched it again and overlooked a key
element you
mentioned. "Lean forward to the point of almost overbalancing, then use
the fingers to steady yourself." I was afraid at first of smashing my
face in the ground....but lo and behold when i gripped the ground hard
i stayed in that position for about a minute! If I can make instant progress like that I
cant wait to see what this month of training will bring me.
"Having someone around my age put in there own words how they achieved
there goals makes it easier
for everyday folks to understand. Not
that other books arent well written...just that sometimes they seemed
geared toward someone who is farther along on the learning curve rather
than a beginner. Keep
up the good work and I'll keep you posted on my progress."
-Felix
Cincotta
"But one thing that seemed to always elude me was the tiger stand. I
practiced this
move a lot against the wall but after weeks of practice I could never
consistently
find that "sweet spot." After seeing
you do a tiger stand in the video, that same
day, when I went to the gym it took me 2 tries and now I can easily and
consistatly
find the "sweet spot" hold the tiger stand. I must of
unconsciously picked up
something when I watched you kick up and hold the tiger stand.
"Another thing I learned from the video is that the kick up is way more
important
than I originally thought. I was basically muscling the handstand back
from my
kick up (which was way too hard). I could do it but it took a lot of
energy. For
the past few days I just worked my kick up over and over again. After
only 2 days
of working my kick up I am hitting my
"sweet spot" 8 times out of 10 when before I
was only hitting it 1 or 2 times out of 10 and the other hand
stand attempts I was
muscling back from an over anxious kick up.
"So, your videos were helpful to even
someone like myself who has been practicing handstands successfully for
several weeks. Just seeing someone else do the move and
step me through the process, which is something I have read about and
knew all
ready, helped me greatly.
Thanks a lot."

P.P.S. Imagine looking back a couple months from now
when you can confidently hold a handstand and you'll know getting this
DVD was the key moment.
P.P.P.S Here's what a few others are saying about the Secrets of the
Handstand Quickstart DVD:
'Yes
the quickstart handstand guide has definitely helped me with holding a
handstand. As a bit of background, my fitness level was pretty
high from a mixture of weight lifting/ training and other sports.
I could just about hold a rather shaky handstand before I
started, but it was all from strength, not skill. The things that
really helped was how to kick-up into the hand stand, and the technique
of leaning into the hands to increase stability. The longest I've
held a handstand for is just over 20 secs, which I'm very pleased with.
The kick-up is a lot more consistent, I would say I manage to
catch about 7/10 handstands I attempt. I really appreciate the
techniques you've shared, particularly because the approach was not
from a pure gymnastics background." -Roger
Earp of Kent,
UK
"Good
step by step program that will give you quick progression."
- Omari Rose of New York, NY
"Great reminders of the basics, reminding me to correct my form, to get
back to basics, everything flows from there." - David Kelso of Glasgow, UK
"The frog handstand was useful in that it showed me another way to
strengthen my wrists for handstands (and other uses)" - Les Green of Omaha, NE
"The tips on hand placement and shoulder positioning were excellent!!!"
- Matthew Nelson of Toronto, Canada
"Very good course! Now I can balance far away from the wall, with the
help of one leg only. Even can free stand for about 3-4 seconds."
- Dmitry
Gubenko of North Caulfield, Australia
"The lead up skills were very helpful as was the focus on total body
tension."
- Donald Thomas
Nicholson of South Lyon, MI
"Yes some of the excercises helped my balance, and starting from
scratch to attempt a static handstand was also very useful as I was
walking around to keep my balance instead of mastering balance first
and then walking."
- Simon Fell of
Lincoln, UK
"The lead up exercises were great in developing hand balance and
strength."
- Brendan Blake of
Jerrabomberra, Australia
"It has given me progresions for getting to the handstand - not there
yet, but building good frogs, heads and wall handstands." - Matt Staples of Nottingham, UK
"Providing a foundation within the quickstart
guide was key and helped
me improve my overall strength, endurance, and coordination." - Sly Chatman of Pheonix, AZ
