This medicine bag was beaded in traditional lazy stitch with traditional designs by an enrolled member of the Oglala Lakota Sioux from the Pine Ridge reservation in South Dakota. Her name is Phyllis White Bear and she is a Lakota grandmother.This bag is a has the design of the turtle and four directions symbol. Keha, the turtle, symbolixes a long life, wisdom and tenacity. The bag is made of genuine soft cream deer skin. The bag is size medium and measure 3.5 inches without fringes. This bag will come with sage from the Pine Ridge reservation of South Dakota.
