This is a 24 coin set (SILVER) put out by the mint in 1975 showing the history of the u s marine corps  for the last 200 years. It is  24 coins in one hard cover folder, each in its own holder. there is a hard back booklet containing a 3 by 5 card describing each coin and who the sculptor of each coin was. this set is certified by the Franklin mint

the cost of EACH coin 35 years ago was over $31,00, making a total cost of $700.00 , which is the opening bid. Gold was $1.042.00 today and silver is UP.  where will silver stop.

this will make a great gift for a retired or former marine.Great gift for a outgoing commander,or ncoic. And don't forget the Marine Corps Ball.

I am a retired marine,but am the age that some one else might enjoy the set.
