The extra length offers the ability to mend your line behind the float for a drag free drift and provides additional HOOKSETTING power to pick up the slack line without lifting your rod and hightailing it a hundred yards down the bank. Available in a spinning and a Skamania style, which lets you use a standard spinning or a single action reel.

This moderate action rod was designed by local jig makers from upper portions of the Green River region, specifically with summer run float fisherman in mind. Ideal for fishing small 1/16 oz jigs with the lightest of balsa wood floats. The length enables you to mend your line, while allowing extended, uninterrupted drifts.
