Illinois Is My Favorite Early Watch Company... They Had The Cooolest Designs. Some Of Their Cases Were Works Of Art. If You Would Like To See More About These Watches You Should Buy A Copy Of Fred Friedbergs Book " The Illinois Watch" It Is A Wonderful History... Oh Well Enough Of That Let's Take A Look At This One... This Is The Model Known As The Ace. It Is On Page 89 - 90 Of Fred's Book.. The 39mm Lug To Lug X 30mm Across Excluding The Crown  Case Is In Great Shape. It Is Base Metal But Looks To Be Brass.. This Is One Of The Cooolest Wearing Cases I Have Seen. It Has A Copper Look To It... It Is Signed.... ILLINOIS WATCH CASE COMPANY, ARROW, BASE METAL.... The Strong Running Movement Is Signed ....ILLINOIS WATCH  SPRINGFIELD, 17 JEWELS, 4934574... The Watch Winds And Sets Smoothly. I Have Not Had It Cleaned But It Runs Great... This Is A Very Nice All Original Example Of A Very Popular Model... If You Have Any Questions Please Ask... This Is A Hobby Of Mine And Love To Hear From Folks...
