Amy Grant Debut LP MSB-6586 1977 NM LP First pressing USA Pressing Vinyl on the Myrrh Label MSB 6586 . LP is NM. The cover is NM . This is a USA First Pressing from 1977. The original inner sleeve/lyric sheet is included. Amy Grant, although today considered a modest record success, was probably one of the biggest Christian album releases ever when it was issued in 1977. At that time, CCM (or as it was more commonly called, Inspirational music) was a tiny subgenre, sold exclusively at Christian bookstores. But the album was a breakthrough in terms of the Christian music market of the day, selling 50,000 copies in one year. Three songs from the album made Top Ten Christian radio airplay: "Old Man's Rubble," "Beautiful Music," and "What A Difference You've Made." (The latter track was made more famous by country singer Ronnie Milsap, as "What A Difference You've Made In My Life.") In 2007, Amy Grant was reissued and digitally remastered by Grant's new record label, EMI/Sparrow Records. Shipping is extra and to be determined after the auction (you can combine purchases to save on postage and have a look at www.canadapost.ca for an approximate postage rate). Auctions of over US$75 are subject to being shipped via registered mail with tracking - there is an extra cost for this. I am not responsible for unregistered items damaged or lost in the post. Purchasers have to contact me after the auction within 3 days with shipping address to calculate shipping to be added to the bid amount. We will not be responsible for items lost in the mail shipped overseas. Canada Post does not provide tracking capabilities for anything shipped internationally below the Expresspost rate. We have experienced some very slow deliveries to Australia and the UK for some reason when shipped at the cheapest "surface" rate and find it just as frustrating as the buyer does. We no longer offer surface shipping to overseas location because of the lengthy shipping times. Airmail has been quick and 100% successful thus far!
