#8102 SOTW - Russian Infantryman Mint in Plain 'Catalog' Box
Box is C8 1/2/C9 - no splits or tears but typical top creases. And someone went and wrote in grease pencil on the lid.
Figure is C9+, nice and tight joints, no eyebrow wear, 95%+ rivet paint, no hair wear

#8102 SOTW - Russian Infantryman Mint in Plain "Catalog" Box
The original GI Joe American soldier was unique in appearance - and showed the 'hard life' he lived with the large visible scar that was featured prominently on his cheek. When Hasbro came out with the 'soldiers of the world' line, they probably wanted to distinguish these foreign soldiers easily and left the scar of the face (in addition the face is a different sculpt). There were 6 soldiers released - still not sure exactly what went into their final decision process in how they chose the particular 6). The soldiers included: German Stormtrooper, Japanese Imperial Soldier (with a unique Asian head sculpt), Russian Infantryman, French Resistance fighter, British fighter, and Austrian Jungle fighter. The Soldiers of the World (SOTW) were marketed in two main ways - you could buy the figure with no accessories (small window box) and then the weapons (small card)...or the figure and accessories were available in a large window box. Additionally, one could by a small boxed version that came in plain corrugated box.

Russian Uniform Jacket (usually tagged 'GI Joe^Â® HASBRO Hong Kong')
Russian Uniform Pants (with elastic feet straps - seldom, if ever, tagged)
Russian Hat with Unit Insignia
Boots, Tall Black Jack Boots

This listing is for a complete Russian Infantryman Mint in plain "catalog" box. In this version, Hasbro only included the figure, uniform, and hat.

- In the effort to provide you with greatest possible amount of knowledge regarding our items, we use extreme close ups. This does tend to over accentuate dust and minor flaws. Please make a note that our items almost always look much better in person.

- Items factory sealed 30, 40 or more years ago, will often come apart from their backings/ties due simply from age (not abuse). If this has occurred prior to our receiving the item, we will make note of this during the listing description. However, if it occurs during shipping/transit, the shipper WILL NOT reimburse and we CANNOT be held accountable for this occurrence and cannot take a return on the item.

- We realize our terms are somewhat long winded. Unfortunately, it is the 1% of bidders that cause 99% of our aggravation - and has made it necessary to spell every little thing out. PAYMENT

At L & L Collectables, customer convenience is a high priority. Ebay insists we tell you we take PayPal. We also have no problem with MOs, CC direct, or pers chks.

All California residents will be charged 9.25% sales tax - unless you can provide a valid resale number.

If you decide to pay via PayPal, we will ONLY ship to shipping address listed on Paypal payment page.

Payment must be received within 7 days of the close of auction. If payment isn't received within 7 days, the auction will be revoked and a Non-Paying Bidder alert will be filed with Ebay.

SHIPPING - Domestic (Continental USA)

Buyer pays $13.00 shipping & insurance (required). (Contiguous US Only!)

Unfortunately, shipping costs have gone up tremendously in the last year, and we hate it, too. We do not try to make money on shipping nor do we charge any handling fees. We quote exact shipping costs.

Most orders will be shipped via UPS Ground if within the contiguous US. Therefore, we will need a street address (no P.O. Box) for shipping. If you have need to ship to a P.O. Box, please contact us before you bid. Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico will be shipped via USPS (email for exact cost). For light, small, or inexpensive items, USPS Priority will be used.

Winning bidder is responsible for all shipping charges. OUr normal shipping days are Tuesdays and Fridays.

For your protection, ALL items with sale price of $250.00 or greater will require signature upon delivery. It is your responsibility to make sure that someone is present to sign for the package.

DAMAGED ITEMS: We take great care to package every item in the best possible way to ensure safe shipment to you. In the unlikely event of damage, you must contact us within 3 days of receiving item. Please save all original packaging or claim cannot be filed. We will assist in the claims process any way possible. Note - USPS claims MUST be filed by the receiver. We do NOT issue any refunds on claims until the shipper has PAID the claim in full. If the shipper does not collect damaged item, it is at our discretion as to whether or not damaged item needs to be returned to us.

L & L Collectables Return Policy:

It is our desire to provide strong customer satisfaction and a very positive experience for our customers. We do our best to present accurate, detailed information and photos about every item we sell. However, it is the responsibility of the bidder to carefully review all item photos and descriptions and ask appropriate questions. With this in mind, we do realize that differences of opinions can occur. We, too, tire of other sellers' 'you bought it, too bad' attitude. Therefore, we do offer unconditional returns. Here's specific return rules:

Please alert us that you wish to return the item. The item must be postmarked back to us within 5 days of receipt and in the exact condition it was sent out it. Refunds fall into the following categories:

Buy It Now or Fixed price purchases - 100% refund of bid price
Standard Auction - auction ending bid price less 15% restocking fee or $10 whichever is greater. We will, and have, refunded 100% of bid price if item was significantly not as described or has had a serious omission (at our discretion).
As-Is lots - sorry, these are special lots and we do NOT accept returns on these.
