HAND PAINTED Civil War Toy Soldiers TSSD Union Assault!

You are bidding on SIX of my hand painted 54 mm Toy Soldiers of San Diego Civil War Union soldiers in some highly realistic poses including the featured color bearer!  The TSSD series of 54 mm Civil War soldiers are some of the most highly detailed ones available today, matched only by Conte (look for a set of Union infantry to be listed on ebay  in two days!) 

Both the Conte and Toy Soldiers Of San Diego figures are made using "full round" production methods, that is, the figures are made in more then just two mold halves as most toy soldier are.  This allows for much higher detail and some very three dimensional poses, that are not normally available with the two mold process.  This may also make them look slightly larger then typical 54mm figures I normally hand paint and sell, but they make great foreground poses in displays or dioramas!

This unique set includes the featured customized color bearer with the hand painted "Stars and Stripes" American Flag, a standing firing rifleman who has lost his hat in the battle, one kneeling firing soldier wearing an "acquired" cavalry hat, one soldier calling for the regiment to advance with his rifle upraised, one charging soldier with his bayoneted rifle outstretched, and the superbly done officer with his sword and revolver, who greatly resembles Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain at Gettysburg!  These extensively detailed figures were uniquely hand painted in regulation Union infantry uniforms, together with their weapons and their accoutrement colors, completed with an acrylic flat finish coat application for both protection and appearance, and signed on their bases! 

I've hand painted over 12,400 soldiers for collectors in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia and even Japan in the last seven years! My Civil War background began as a child on my first trip to Gettysburg, 50 years ago, and I suit up in my complete Union Artillery sergeant's uniform to teach the Civil War to my wife's 5th Grade class each year!
