This darling, VINTAGE QUILTED AND PADDED BABY WRAP, CARRIAGE PILLOW, or BUNTING, is in FANTASTIC CONDITION! Named "CUDDLE NEST", it is a "KANTWET PRODUCT", as shown on the satin tag. The tag shows a woman holding a baby that is resting inside the "cuddle nest" and another, with the baby inside the satin, padded bunting, while it rests inside an old baby carriage.
The outside is a lovely, shimmering pink quilted satin, with a yellow inside, top section. This section appears to have a rubber or plastic backing attached to it, on the reverse side. You can't see it, but due to the weight and feel of the satiny portion, it is evident. Beneath this, further inside the piece, the fabric looks like a plastic coated oil cloth or some similar fabric. The back looks to be a pink cottony material, with a separation for you to slip your hand inside, and remove the inner "pillow".
The entire piece is in EXCELLENT CONDITION, with very little wear to speak of. Even the 4 side ribbon ties (2 on each side) are in place and perfect. The inner pillow section has some staining but this is quite minimal, considering the age. If this was used, it was certainly very well cared for.
Perfect for a baby display, to add to a carriage or use for a Doll display, or many other fun and functional uses! It measures 30" long and is approx. 16.5" wide.
