DETAILS

The important Davidsohn history of Florence. Published over a number of years, so very hard to find in a good near uniform edition as here.

Complete set of seven leatherbound volumes with gilt titles to the spine, gilt detail to the front boards, and one fold-out map of Florence.

This volume is in German. Davidsohn explores the history of Florence from the time of Dante.

CONDITION

The bindings are tight and firm with all covers and pages securely attached. There is some mild wear to the extremities including some small marks to the boards and minor rubbing to the spines. Internally the pages are very clean and bright with some mild spotting to the blank endpapers. There is an ink signature to the front blank endpaper of five of the volumes. Overall the volumes are in very good condition
