 I'm going to quote what is on the receipt I have for this laptop. I am not a computer guy other than as user. If you have questions you'll need to be specific and tell me where to look or otherwise this laptop is as follows:

Original factory box (styrofoam cut to accomodate laptop bag) will be used for shipping. Included with this laptop is the power cord: "HP Part No.:310744-002", originally packaged ear bud headphones (not used & not even known of until I put this laptop up for sale), "Trial Product Key", cleaning cloth (in original packaging), "quick reference guide", warranty & support guide", "quick tour", and a really nice laptop bag (see photo).

 

When the laptop failed I asked the tech what was wrong with it. He replied as follows "FL Inverter, LCD Panel (Lamp), & Cooling Fan". I take no responsibility for the accuracy of this information.

 

*** This is a non-functional laptop *** - I'm selling it either for someone to use as parts or for someone who has the ability to make it work. There is no warranty or return accepted. You purchase "as is".

 Q: What exactly is wrong with the laptop? Does it turn on? If yes then what happens after it turns on. Does anything appear on the screen? Is the screen really really dim? Thank You.
A: See description. Yes, it turns on. When I turn it on the "HP" appears briefly but it's really, really dim (emphasize "really") It then disppears almost immediately.

 Q: Does it power up now and is there a display if you use a external monitor
A: It seems to power up as previously mentioned but I don't have an external monitor and there is no hard drive installed, or available, anymore (would it come on without a drive?)
