Description:
This is a lovely quality two door and single drawer red lacquered Japanned decorated bedside cabinet / side sofa table.  The cabinet stands on a classic Japanese or Chinoiserie Oriental style bracket foot plinth with a lovely red mottled lacquered finish with highlighted gilt work to the moulding.  Rising above are two beautifully decorated doors with matched decorations and solid brass handles.  There is a single frieze drawer over, again with Chinese key scrolled floral decorations, with floral decorations to the sides and birds with floral designs to the top, having a classic Chinese moulded top.

Date:
The cabinet dates from the late 20th Century.

Condition:
The cabinet is in very nice condition having just some minor wear to leading edges.
