Report itemThis is the vinyl Scarlett O'Hara "BBQ at Twelve Oaks" Doll. This is the gown that Scarlett wears to the barbecue at Twelve Oaks. The dress is comprised of a cotton skirt beneath the overskirt of sheer green sprigged muslin. Two sleeves delicately lay off her shoulders with velvet detailing. There is a green velvet belt which has a point in the center of the front and makes a large bow in the back, just as it did in the film. Scarlett comes with a large straw hat which has two lengths of the same green velvet as her belt is made of. Also along with the dress comes a delicate white lace shawl, two deep green velvet bows for her hair, two stockings, bloomers, a hoop skirt, two green shoes, and three pieces of incredibly delicate and detailed jewelry: two gold earrings with a coral center and a coral and gold chain necklace. Not only does Scarlett come with an immaculate and painstakingly recreated ensemble, but her hair is wonderfully styled and has several curls hanging along both sides of her face, the same face which has been hand painted to look so impressively lifelike. I purchased this doll mint in the box. She was removed and displayed inside a cabinet. It came with no COA but Scarlett does have her serial number handwritten on her side specifying that she is a product of the Franklin Mint. After she was inside the cabinet she was not played with or touched and she comes from a pet and smoke free home. |
