One of the prettiest & most Feminine VINTAGE ROBES I've had the pleasure to list is Made by "KOMAR", but in the exact style of many I've sold by "BARBIZON". As a matter of fact, if you'll check my other auctions, you will find a Gorgeous White & Blue Robe that shows this.
The wonderful shirred collar-line, with it's delicate Embroidered Roses and Vertical Designs, along with the Embroidered Scalloped Ruffle Edging with Criss-Cross Embroidery within it & Eyelit openings of the roses make this a fabulous find! The puffed sleeves show the same treatment as does the tie-up neckline and Pocket Trim! The PINK is absolutely perfect, not too pale, nor too bright...very "Vintage" and the Robe is in VERY GOOD CONDITION with the only noticible flaws being the dot of brown shown in the photo and one other, pin-head size dot, elsewhere on the garment. These are quite small..one being almost too small to notice and the other, while slightly larger, being small enough to overlook easily. You can check the size of the larger of the 2 in the
second photo below. It is located to the right of the second button
down, on the robe. These certainly may come out with treatment and if not, this fabulous Vintage Robe is still worth adding to your Collection or Wardrobe. *For some unknown reason, many of my close-up photos are showing "wavy lines" on the fabric of my items. This is ONLY due to the camera's operation and these are NOT actually on the fabric.
Fabric Content is 45% "DACRON" POLYESTER, 30% NYLON & 25% COTTON. It has a lovely sheen, which is probably due to that mysterious vintage "Dacron" one sees in many of these older items. The robe comes to beneath the knee and is a button up style. No size is shown, but in selling many of these, I would assume it is a SIZE MEDIUM. Such a wonderful piece for any Season and ultra-feminine too!
