You are bidding on a lightly used, and meticulously cared for, Canon EOS 20D body only, with the Battery Grip BG-E2 included. I am the original owner and am a semi-professional photographer. I purchased this camera new the third day after Canon released the 20D and my dealer only had it available with the EF-S 18-55mm kit lens. So it was purchased as a kit, but I traded the kit lens in at the time of purchase on a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4.0 L. So, the original box will say Canon 20D with EF-S 18-55 kit, but you are bidding on the body alone. This camera is in excellent condition and was lightly used. When the 5D came out I purchase one, and the 20D became a back up to the 5D. It has a total of 2285 actuations.

There is one very small scratch on the corner of the LCD panel that is more of a scrape than a scratch and is almost undetectable. I didn't notice it until I took the camera strap off. I have circled it in red on one of the photos so you can see it. It causes no problems with the operation and as I said, is almost  unnoticeable, but I wanted to point it out so the buy is aware of it. I want you to be completely happy with this purchase, and no surprises when you receive the camera. Other than this little blemish, and some normal, and very light brassing on the hot shoe, the camera is mark free. The LCD monitor is clear and scratch free and every feature of this camera works perfectly.

This is a very nice example of the Canon 20D. I don't believe you will find many, if any in as nice condition as this one. If you are looking for your first DSLR, or are an advanced amateur wanting to move up, this would be a great camera that will serve you well for years to come. Included in the sale is the Canon EOS 20D body, Canon Battery Grip BG-E2 that fits tight and secure to the camera and includes the Battery Magazine BGM-E2 that came with it. I've included a Canon Eye Piece Extender EP-EX-15. This is great if you wear glasses, or if you would just like to keep your nose off the LCD monitor. Included is the Battery Charger CG-580 and Battery BP 511A. Canon wide strap EW-100DGR. Interface Cable IFC-400PCU and Video Cable VC-100. All software that came with the camera, and the original box. Also included but not shown in any of the pictures is one Lexar 320MB Compact Flash Card.

The only reason I'm selling is that I have purchased a second Canon 5D and no longer have a need for the 20D. It was a tough decision whether to sell or not, but I finally decided I'd rather see it in a new home where it will be used and continue to provide great images for someone new. I've kept the reserve reasonable, but fair for all that's included. If you're looking to get into a DSLR, you really can't beat this package. All that's needed is to get yourself a quality piece of glass and you're set. When I first got started in photography an old pro told me, cameras are cameras, they simply hold the film. The most important piece of equipment that will affect the outcome of you shots is the lenses you use. That was in the days of film, but the concept hasn't changed. In the days of film Nikon made the best glass, today it has come full circle and Canon by far produces the best glass out there. Don't believe it, just take a look at the pros shooting any sporting event or news conference, almost three fourths will be white lenses. So, with the money you will save with this outfit as compared to a new camera body, you will be able to step up what you will spend on a piece of glass. Get the best you can afford. This is a great camera to get started. I have included pictures of all angles to show how nice this camera really is. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Shipping is included in sale price, but buyer is responsible for insurance.

Thanks, and good luck!
