The 2002 Thunderbird was a highly anticipated car, with much pre-release publicity and fanfare, and lots of comparisons to the original "baby birds". It was a nice car, but was way too expensive, and never exploded in sales the way Ford hoped for. It is a shame, because this car, the current Mustang, the new Camaro and the Dodge Challenger are findidng themselves victims of a recession, and a government wanting everyone to drive mini cars. Be American, buy GM Ford and MoPar, and push back the tide. It CAN be done !
