Plans for longbow & bow press. Bear Martin Traditional

Set of three diagrams showing blueprint style plans to build a longbow as well as a bow press. Plans are from Bingham Projects, out of Utah. If you're into making your own archery equipment and are not familiar with these guys, check out their web site. It will be worth your time. Blueprints include an adult 68" longbow along with smaller ones suitable for children 4 to 12 years of age. Bow press allows the bowyer to glue the bow laminations (under pressure) to make the raw form the bow takes it's initial shape from. Some of the illustrations are full scale to show proper size. NOTE: These are not start to finish plans. More or less diagrams that show the proper sizing and shape of the bow and how the bow press in constructed. Some photos shown with a standard 12 inch ruler to give you an idea of the size of these items.
