SHIPPING COSTS AND TRANSIT TIME

We are not a business, just regular working people who do not have time to organize and hold garage/estate sales. We usually ship within 3 business days of receiving your payment, sometimes within 24 hours. When you give us your feedback rating please check the date on the shipping label. If your item did not arrive within a reasonable amount of time the problem is with the postal service and not us - if we have any difficulty getting your item in the mail, we will not play games but will notify you.

Most sellers, and most importantly WE, don't profit on shipping or handling costs. Check out eBay's fees page for all the fees involved in selling an item. We DO combine shipping costs - please wait for our invoice before attempting payment.

The status of your shipment is available on the View Order Details page of the auction - you can access the USPS tracking number and track it on the USPS web site.

Items shipped First Class International to Canada, Austrailia and United Kingdom CANNOT be insured.  To be insured, International shipments must be shipped via Priority or Express International mail.  Although I package very securely and carefully, I cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items shipped First Class International.

All sales are final.  I absolutely, positively, will not grossly mislead the condition of my items in words or pictures!!!  The items you are purchasing have all been previously owned.  I do not live in a pet free home, we use normal household cleaning items, air fresheners, etc.  MOST of my crochet book collection has been purchased from a third party at estate sales, ebay auctions, used book stores and other sources.  If old paper odors, storage odors, or others outside of my control, bother you then this may not be the auction for you.  I will not ship items "covered" in pet hair however, you may find one or two.  PLEASE ASK ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING!  ALL SALES ARE FINAL!

In my quest build my own crochet pattern collection I have purchased many Lots of pattern books, leaflets and magazines - usually from Estate Sales, Ebay Auctions, Used Book Stores, etc.  I have collected many duplicates and literally 100's of books that I could not possibly use in my lifetime.   I am not a business and my auctions are not intended to be represented as such - I am literally cleaning out my house before someone else has to do it for me!  The books I list for auction, unless otherwise expressly noted, are all used.  Some are in better condition than others, some may even have writing inside from someone else (I don't write in my own books) but they are all useable and complete to the best of my knowledge.  I will strive to note all defects i.e., writing, tears, rips, stains etc. in my descriptions, but I am human and I may miss something small or something that I don't notice because I am used to working with used books.  Please ask me any and all questions - I will answer without hesitation.

I am using this portion of the Auctiva template to explain my own personal rating system for my auctions that include books, magazines and leaflets.

Excellent (Near New) Condition - This item looks like it just came off of a book shelf.  I cannot call any of my books/magazines/leaflets brand new but some are close too it.  They have been handled and looked through but not used.

Excellent - This item may show some tiny signs of storage or other handling just like what you would find in a book store or off of a magazine rack.

Good - This item shows some signs of storage, handling and may have small corner dings or slight dents from use.  May contain small notes or tiny writing.

Fair - This item definately shows its use, storage, handling and may also include bends at the corners, folded corners of pages, small stains or spots of unknown origin, slight or tiny tears along the edges of the pages and/or contain writing etc.

Poor - This item has seen better days.  May have long or repaired tears in the pages, covers, or torn along the spine and have small pieces of the pages or covers missing.  Could also include large stains, smudges or large amounts of writing on or in the book.

No matter the rating of the book, magazine or leaflet, all patterns shown in the auction will be complete, readable and/or useable.  I cannot state this enough - PLEASE ask all questions prior to bidding or winning my auctions.  I will tell you everything you ask, even if it means that you will decide not to bid on the auction.
