Beautiful Antique Early 1900’s Bernhardt Furniture Co. 9 Piece Dining Room Set

This complete set is from the 1920’s to 1930’s and belonged to my grandparents. I believe it’s oak and it has flattened ball feet and carvings which indicate the William and Mary style.  All of the furniture has beautiful carvings in the woodwork. This is a beautiful dining room set.  The antique appraiser said this set is worth over $8,000.

I have the Buffet, China Cabinet, Table with 2 attached leafs, 5 side chairs and 1 arm chair.  All the chairs have recently been reupholstered.  All of the furniture is in good condition, but may need some scratches refinished or the table top could be refinished also.  Some small nicks here and there, but all are solid pieces with no major damage and no structural damage.

Buffet: Length 60”, Height 37 ½”, Depth 20”

Has 2 drawers (smaller silverware drawer with felt lining and larger drawer), 2 side cabinets

China Cabinet:  Length 37”, Total Height 63”, Depth 16 ½”

Cabinet has 1 shelf, 1 large drawer. The Bernhardt Furniture Co label is on the back of this piece.

Table:  Measures 56” x 38” without the leaves. Each leaf is 15” wide.  Total length with both

leaves extended is 86”. The leaves slide out from under the table and pivot up into place.

Chairs: There are 6 chairs in total.  There is 1 arm chair and 5 side chairs. The seats have all been

 reupholstered.
