NEW BLUE'S CLUES WORD FAMILIES w/ DECODER EARLY READING

I am an elementary teacher who teaches 4th grade and tutors grades k through 12. I buy many resources for the children I teach. I hunt the bookstores for good deals for my classroom and the students I tutor. Up for bid is one of my great finds. All of my books and workbooks listed in my auctions are materials I personally recommend for that grade or age level. All of my listed materials for children are excellent resources for homeschool or public school. Each book I list is in limited supply. I try to purchase in bulk, when available, but it is not always possible and I am often unable to find and re-purchase some titles. There are many materials I won't sell, because they do not measure up to my standards or are not good value for the money!

"Word Families" is one book in a great series of Blue's Clues educational Decoder workbooks by Nick Jr. and Learning Horizons Publications. It is brand-new, in perfect condition, and a wonderful resource for teachers and homeschool parents. I recommend this book for preschool, age 4 and 5, and kindergarten children.

This Decoder workbook is designed to build reading and language skills through practice and repetition. Best of all, it features a special decoder that allows children to check their own answers. It has 24 pages with each page in full-color. Two Decoder wands are included in easy to keep pockets inside the back cover. In this workbook, your child will help Blue and her friends find objects whose names belong to specific word families. He or she will learn how to recognize familiar word family endings through pronunciation and spelling. This book also gives your child practice in building phonics and reading skills, recognizing rhyming words, and beginning handwriting.
