Lets start off by saying Wow!  This car is Fiberglass....Just like the real 1972 Corvette Coupe ZR1 and what a wonderful rendition of this Classic Muscle Car.  Upon first glance the paint on this Sleek Franklin Mint 1972 Corvette caused me to do a Double-Take!  No Mistake.....It is a Wonderful Pewter Silver.  The hood is adorned with Pin-Striping that goes around the Air-Inlets and follows the taper of the hood, with LT-1 written in between the Pin-Stripes.  On both the Right and Left Side Fenders of the car; just below Stingray, the Air Inlet Grilles are nicely detailed in Chrome!  And I couldn't help but notice the Front and Rear Chrome Bumpers as I journeyed around the car ....this was the last year for these on a Corvette!  The Hideaway Headlights are simply Fun...Once I walked around and got back to the front, I had to open the Hideaways....What a treat!  They look great and snap into place when fully opened. 

The interior is a Jet Black with seats that tilt forward.  The Dash has Full-Instrumentation and the Floor is fully carpeted!  You can lift the car and move the wheels right to left to see the steering wheel turn.  Upon opening the hood I realized this must have been a real-car that has been SHRUNK!  The Engine is the LT-1 350 with Corvette Valve Covers, an Aluminum Intake and Chrome Air Filter Cover.  Threre are some differences on this car compared to the Franklin MInt 1972 Blue Corvette:  The Engine is equipped with an AIR Pump and Hoses, Distributor with Vacuum Advance, and a Fan with No Shroud.  It also comes fully Wired, and Plumbed like the Blue car.  The detail under the hood is Amazing.  Looking under the car I found a 4-Speed Transmission, Factory Dual Exhaust and the Spare Tire Housing.  On top of the spare tire housing is the Franklin Mint Numbered Label.  Car is running on Firestone Wide O Oval Rubber Tires with Rally Wheels and is ready to rip up the streets in your neighborhood
