The Eagle Claw Granger X series of rods are designed by professional guides as specialty rods for salmon/steelhead fishing. This rod is a model GRX5286H, a 8 1/2' heavy action 2 piece trigger stick casting rod made in China. This 8 1/2' rod has an unbelievable 10 SIC guides plus tip. The quality of the workmanship on the Granger X rod series is evident from the high quality, durable epoxy coating on the guide wraps and information area. The rod handle has a graphite reel seat with a stainless steel hood and a 12" specie cork handle with a 2 3/4" species cork fore grip. The design and placement of the ferrule is such that there is virtually no "flat spot" commonly associated with a 2 piece rod. The rod is  heavy action rated for 12-25 lb test line and 1/2-1 1/2oz lures.  With all the high quality features and 8 1/2' length the rod weighs only 8.3 oz on my digital scale.

This rod is the model with upgraded cosmetics. The IM7 rod blank is a beautiful brown satin sheen. The guide wraps are dark brown with silver accents. The handle end cap is metal and plastic with a clear plastic cover of the Eagle Claw American Eagle emblem. The handle wrapping is silver and dark brown and has a silver winding check. These cosmetic upgrades make this rod one of the most attractive salmon/steelhead rods available in any price range.

In addition to all the high quality features the rod comes with an attractive cloth carrying case that lists the rod model and specifics.

This is a new rod with warranty papers included. Eagle Claw warranty is one year on materials and workmanship.

Flat rate shipping and handling is $12.00 for one rod. A second rod of similiar length adds $6.00 to shipping and handling. Insurance included.

Flat rate S&H to Canada is $25.00 for one rod and $30.00 for 2-4 rods shipped by USPS Airmail Parcel Post.
