Here is an inexpensive upgrade for your desktop that's currently got
an older and less capable video card installed.

This new ATI Rage video card is based on the wildly popular and stable Rage chipset and will give you high quality 2D and 3D video performance.  8Mb memory, plenty to give you up to 1600x1200 pixels resolution.  Installs easily in any open PCI slot, to replace the current video card, whether that's an on-board video or other PCI card.  If you currently have an on-board video then the BIOS will detect the extra video card and automatically disable the on-board video.  Sometimes you'll need to manually disable the on-board video.  Either case: piece of cake and I will be happy to help you over the phone to do this! Many buyers use this card to create a dual-monitor system.  The other card can be another PCI card or an AGP card.  Windows will make it work. Believe me, it's quite an experience to move a window from one monitor to another! :)      By setting it up this way you avoid the cost of buying a high-end dual-head card.

• Standard 15-pin VGA connector for connecting any size and brand video monitor (LCD or CRT), as long as it's standard 4:3 aspect ratio. Card will NOT work for wide screen (i.e. 16:9 ratio)  monitors!

• Height: 2 1/2" (from top of pins which disappear in the slot, to top of card)
  This is NOT a so-called "low profile card". Those cards have shorter brackets for smaller cases. This card has a standard bracket.

Drivers included (on CD) for Windows 98 and 98SE, Windows ME, Windows 2000.  XP has drivers already included in the OS. Drivers for DOS, Windows 3.1, 3.11, WFW and Windows 95 are freely available on the internet, but are not included with this card.
